Kath was a good friend. Kind, interested and with a well developed, sometimes wry, sense of humour; she was always positive, despite any adversity. A lover of the arts and an intrepid traveller, she had a warm smile and a ready laugh.

Kath has been a good friend to me since 1972. It is hard to realise she is no longer here. I will always remember the good times we had.

Kath was the first person I made friends with when I came to London in 1992 and we remained good friends travelling the world together - Egypt, Cambodia, Vietnam, India and all across South America. We also enjoyed trips to art galleries, museums and the theater, all of which would be finished off with food and drinks, lots of drinks on a roof top bar in the summer or a cosy wine bar in the winter! I miss you and our fun times together you were the nicest person anyone could meet, everyone said what a lovely person you were always had a smile and a wicked laugh. Rest in Peace my dearest friend x

Truly the person who more than anyone else in the bank transcended all classes to make friends (and the bank was a stuffy place back in the day.) Kath was the most gracious and affable person you could ever wish to meet; when she was your friend, she was your friend for life. She was eternally cheerful, who ever visited the Information Centre and didn’t encounter her lovely smile ? No one . I don’t know anyone who didn’t love her, everyone did, and I mean EVERYONE ! Such a beautiful photo of her too. My most sincere condolences to her family, Kath is a loss to everyone who knew her.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
